Polaris Xplorer 500 advice

I have had this 4 wheeler to several so called professionals but still can't get it to run the way it should it will not idle. Can anyone give me any ideas?

If not already tried, clean/replace pilot needle in the carb, and/or turn up the idler

Or try adjusting the throttle cable itself, so when it starts it is already receiving throttle. Just not enough to make it move, just enough to keep er idling. jmo

will it idle if you push the throttle lever just enough to take the slack out of the cable if so your etc switch is out of adjustment
