Long story short - I want to remove about 1/4" off the bottom of the Polaris spindle bumper pad. This pad is between spindle and the ski mount base. If I do this, then Simmons Arctic Cat mounts will fit my Polaris snowmobile. This still gives me 1/4" of base rubber. Material is hard rubber and I don't want to chip off pieces by cutting it maybe with wrong tool. First thought is fine hacksaw blade? Thanks for info.
