polaris snowbike

FCK! he's a frenchie :face-icon-small-win. I need to get a hold of that guy this summer when I'm back east.

I'm laughing that you gave me bad rep for my above post. WTH?? Its just an opinion buddy.
Wake up on the wrong side of the bed or just a grouchy guy?
Why would you want to talk with TLKD? he rides a hawk and hates snowbikes.

I suppose to say that its a snow bike isn't 100% wrong yes I know it is still a sled but it is the next variation of the rush which borrows a lot from the theory of dirt bike suspension and tries to translate it to a sled, this AxYs thing should be could though eh?

I really hope the big guys don't get onboard.

While normally I would agree that competition is good for the consumer is does nothing for the quality. My worry is that polaris gets on board. drives people like Allen out of the mfg market and then polaris trashes the quality so bad the sport dies out. I personally love the fact that its a conversion kit that makes a 1 season toy into a 2 season toy. this means instead of paying $12k+ for a 3 month toy I pay only $6 for the same 3 months.

Please polaris... stay out.

Agreed. I think what will be better is if KTM and some others make OEM solutions for their bikes such as engine shrouds, air intake kits, better heating/electrical systems, more connections for aftermarket snowbike add-ons, etc. That will get the reliability and ease of conversion up and retain the current two-season nature of the kits.

lol, no its just their new short track model.

look at polaris pattern of release... this year new shorty. 2016 will be a new long tracked version of it.

They came out with the longer version last year for 2013 , it kind of got ignored , they claim they sell the crap out of them for the trail riders .

God forbid that a money grubbing GE backed Indian stealing company that's coming out with a three wheel motorcycle since Doo beat them to the punch . Not to mention sucking up Klim , my new Tomahawk parka has already blown the bottom snap , the stitching on the snow flat is unraveling and the velcro stitching on the wrists is coming off . Granted it'll be covered under warranty on manufacture defects but how coincidental is it that some of the greatest gear is now unraveling .

I guess you know how I feel now :face-icon-small-hap

The other thing that I'd like to see from an OEM is a bike built with a factory turbo kit. Lower compression pistons and pre-tuned for all conditions. Would be nice to be able to have OEM reliability and get more than 100 hrs on a turbo engine before a rebuild is required.

I realize that wheels no longer work in this scenario so sell it without them (or perhaps as 'optional') for those who plan to use the bike as a dedicated snowbike.

It's not too often I've seen a naturally aspirated car be successfully turboed with high a compression motor. Usually a CR <9:1 is required to make it even remotely reliable.

I know all this can be done relatively easy after the fact but sure would be nice if you could avoid that first rebuild and also delay the subsequent ones to boot. Would also allow more boost and ultimate higher HP and TQ numbers.

2015 here we come!

Found it!!! Will be in full production soon im sure
