My 13 feels slightly stronger than my 12 stock for stock. The belt drive and lighter weight does help the sled perform better. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy a 12 if the price is right.

looked it up. standard 13 600 144 = 450# dry
pro 600 155 = 417# dry

standard 144 also has old style boards with bracing.
