Polaris Pro turbo problem

Ok so here is the scoop.

2011 polaris pro boondocker kit, haven't installed updated airbox or EBC yet. running sled at 7500 ft.

Sled has a terrible and i mean terrible bog to it. So bad it will die at times.

Happens between 3100-5200ish RPMS, once sled starts to build boost it starts to go away, after 2ishlbs of boost sled runs amazing up to 8lbs (what i have it set at).

Running 50/50 av to 91 and tried 3/4 91 1/4 112. no difference there.

Compression is good
Reeds are good
Tried 10 different sets of plugs including iriduims.. They all come out looking fine, light coco color.
boost actuator is operating properly
no boost leaks that i can find
Tried all 5 of VOHKS preset maps, all the same issue
Tried some of boondockers maps, and some maps i've found online. all have the same issue.
Throttle body boots are fine
exhaust valves are fine
primary and secondary clutch springs are fine
sled doesn't throw any codes

sled idles around 14.7.. when the bog is happening it jumps from 12.4- 17.0 and any where in between. Soon as boost comes up afr numbers level out and pulls nice all the way to 12.4 at WOT.

Can't get it to happen as bad on the trail, get into deep pow and tree riding where you need that lower rpm range and thats when its super noticeable.

So what am missing???

What vents do you have? So does it run fine on the trail? Are you sucking snow, or snow coming in melting making steam?

Did you have this when the sled was in stock condition?
I had a simular problem, it would bog in long pulls and deep powder and would run-bog-run-bog in repeat if just had WOT..
I changed the stock injectors and the sled runs great, it was more powerfull on WOT and no bogging..
No I'm converting to BD Racegas turbo but after 15 minutes runtime my stator died =/

No i didn't have the sled in stock condition.

Sled doesn't bog on long pulls once you build boost sled runs amazing.
Sled can be cooled down and still has the bog on the bottom.

I had an 11 and had 2 sets of injectors put in. The first set at about 800 miles and the second at about 1800 miles. The first set was cutting right out when you hit the throttle and then going into limp mode. The second set ran good for about 600 miles then started the brutal throttle response and bogging in the 3800-5500 rpm range. Once you were moving at more than 20 mph it would still run great. New injectors fixed it right up. The sled was stock the whole time.

The connector for the boost accuator, and connector for the aux injectors is the same type of plug. Do you have these 2 hooked up backward? This will cause the boost to hit then flood out, even die.

Nope they are hooked up fine.. like i mentioned.. sled runs fine on boost. Its the bottom end which is "unridable" nasty bogging.

just a thought did you calibrate you ebc so that you are not reading boost at an idle

sounds like you have went through all of the fuel and electrical pretty well did you inspect your primary really close maybe a bad roller or spider weights bushing. I know a lot of these ideas are redundant but from my experience a bog is usually one of three things fuel, air, or clutching or a combo. i bet when you find the problem you going to say a few choice words followed by i should have thought of that. I don't suppose you have a buddy you can swap out parts with.

Ya went through both primary and secondary clutch. Everything to be in working order there.

On the TPS and the injectors, the local polaris shop claimed they were fine. However do they really have enough instruments and programs to truly test them? could these still be it?

THey claimed they found some codes in the sled for fuel system and fuel relay. However when they tested them, they claimed they were fine. :face-icon-small-dis

sounds like it could be just too rich off boost, what is your base fuel pressure? where do you have your regulator hooked up to, is it just seeing boost or does it see vacume also?
if your fuel pressure is good, try pulling some fuel out of the bottom end.

14.7 is super lean and 17 is burndown time.......02

oil line

looking at things i noticed today my oil return line is almost melted off. need to do some kind of replacement. the yellow plastic thingys are dripping out of the hose

The yellow plastic this doesn't matter. It is just a stop so you only push the hose on so far.

and i found it laying in the bottom of the bulkhead

But it's so much more than a stop, it makes the hose pretty. :face-icon-small-win

They are all gonna do that, maybe unless you are vented like crazy.
