Polaris Low Profile Defrost Bag

Has anyone seen this low pro defrost bag from Polaris yet? It's in the apparel and accessories catalog page 47, 48, and 53. Its not pictured very well and its hard to see how it looks. It's definitely smaller than the original defrost bag which I like, but I'm curious how much it fits (pair of goggles and small gloves or just one or the other). It appears to change the location of the gauge so its kind of a 2 birds one stone deal, dry gloves and lift gauge. Supposedly its designed to work with a low windshield. If anyone has seen it and can comment or has pictures that would be great.

Here are the pictures, if there is another angle or something that I missed just let me know. I think you would be able stuff a pair of gloves and a set of goggles in it. I like the little side vent so you can let air out without loosing your gear.

Thanks for the pictures! Do you think it will stand up to rollovers? Does it just vent up through the original hole for the gauge cluster or do you put addition vents in your dash to let more air up through it? What are your overall thoughts about now that you have it in hand? Any issues you expect to come up with it?

Looks like they are leaving the key in stock location. Both bags will make it harder to remove center hood do to the metal straps that mount to steering hoop. Also looks like it has a little more storage.

I would have that thing looking like a mangled pancake in no time.

Great idea, though. I just don't think it would hold up very well in a rollover. (The best way to get a sled unstuck, lol) I think it needs some serious bracing and you might have something. JMO

Does it change the angle of the gauge? Looks like the back feet aren't all the way down, will it angle down further than in the pics?

For the "small" one, it's a fair bit bigger than I expected. Guess I'll find out when I pick mine up with my sled.

It vents through the original hole for the gauge. That was as tight as I could get the bag without screwing it on, the angle will be pretty close to that.

I don't forsee any issues with it sticking up, if you can roll a sled over on a windshield this should be fine too. I like it but think it would look clunky with a short windshield. If I had a mid-sized windshield I would probably get it. Would be nice to have a place to put my phone, go pro, etc that was warm.

It is hidden by the windshield in the front.

Thanks for the pics, is that bag you are showing PN 2879789? It looks way too tall to put behind the low windshield. I might have to get a Dan Adams windshield bag...

We ran the defrost bag last year with mid windshield and it bent after a season of rollovers. I like the look of the new bag but won't run another because of bending. Granted the sled probably rolled at least 50 times over the season, most intentional but a few the sled decided to roll itself. ;)

Rather than being "low profile", it looks just a bit narrower than the original from last year, too tall

Figured I'd give a couple pics of it installed now, seems it was made for the Burandt windshield height. Fits a pair of goggles and a small pair of gloves or one big pair of gloves.
