Polaris dealer

Ok,
with Exteme closing it's doors,
MotoAdventure is no longer a Polaris dealer,

Are there any polaris dealers left in northern colorado??

Spirit Lake Polaris in Grand Lake is a great place. They know how to treat customers and keep them coming back. It is a long way to drive, but IMO it would be worth it.

I have since sold my RMK. However Alan at Spirt Lake reworked the sled before I bought it. For having nothing vested in the sale he took a hour or so out of his day to provide all the info I wanted.

Seemed like a very customer oriented outfit

Spirit lake and Steamboat are WAY to far away for a parts run.
Looks like I am kind of stuck with Colorado Powersports.

We have been using Alan at Spirit Lake for 3 years now. We drive up there because of the service we have received from him. He will also ship parts to you. Alan has given us great setups. In fact, we have an 05 RMK 800 that kicks the butts of Felkers setups on the new doos!

Alan (Spirit Lake Poo) is great to deal with and now that Brian is out of the biz things are even better!

for parts, Vickery is great, their service on sleds is sub-par because no one their really rides but they have a ton of parts on the shelf and good customer service (don't let pj tell ya different... I actually go there)

Didn't day anything about CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was speaking of the service and knowledge out in the shop. I'm not speaking heresay, I actually have experience so I can back it up. The service on the showroom floor is good, I have never had to wait or explain what I wanted. Please don't mis-interpret or change what I say.

I'd drive to Spirit lake or buy from Carls over the net/phone LONG before I'd
use Colorado Powersports!!!!

If you choose Carl's, which wouldn't be a bad idea. They specialize in POO and KNOW how to make them run! I can hook you up with their parts guy, just call and ask for Timmy.

the all mighty has spoken... again.... geez this gets old with you

no doubt any business is tough these days.....my brother in law owns a chevy dealership. haven't yet heard if he got cut today. anyway, sorry to hear about extreme. no doubt everyone is in business to make money, but in this industry there is certainly a lot of personal relationships formed. i know some that are real "impressed" by nice, new, big shiny buildings (read almost ALL harley dealers these days).....so if you go into a small, mom & pop looking operation they are let down. there is certainly a place for both, but when it comes down to it, overhead COSTS! not a problem when times are rollin' along, but when they come crashing down like they have i know which situation i would rather be in. i wish everyone at extreme the best. after witnessing things with my sis and bro in law, i can identify in a small way. this is something we should ALL keep in mind.....these are honest people, working hard, trying to make and honest buck. each of us has had a bad experience with one dealer or another.....sometimes it is just a one time bad event. sometimes it unfortunately is a way of doing business. if you find a dealer you believe in........SUPPORT THEM!!!!!!!! it always kills me when i see a thread titled...."where can i get the cheapest _____?"
i agree with some of the other posts here.....alan at spirit lake. they will go the extra mile to take care of the customer. he recently added an additional guy in the service dept. he is a very knowledgeable ski doo tech. it is one area that i believe they have made great improvements. i have no direct personal knowledge, but several buds that are big dirt riders say they are pretty durn good in that area as well. no doubt i make some purchases online, but especially in todays world.....lets do what we can to help out our local guys so we have someplace to go when we need them!!!!!!

I am really going to miss breaking a part on saturday, picking up the part from extreme or Moto on tuesday, fixing the sled on wednesday/thursday and riding again on saturday.

Between those two stores I could pretty much find anything I needed that wasn't a special order item.

I've dealt with spirit lake and liked em. Very much a mom-pop feel to the place.
I have purchased many items from Carls over the years (about to buy all new shocks for the wifes 07 dragon from em).
I just like to deal with local shops when possible. It's nice to walk in and be recognized and chat while you shop. Your not just another dollar.

Wtf is your problem? I never said anything against you and you seemed like a decent guy when I met you with Bushy. You got a problem with me, take it up through a PM or a phone call. No need to be a azz!

There is a Polaris dealer in Greeley,co. But I would only go there to get parts. And they really don't have anything in stock. So you would probably have to order parts. I think they work on sleds but I have never had any work done by them before. I have only got parts from them.
I know of Alen at Spirit Lake too. Great guy. I had a sled worked on by him and he took real good care of me.

Sucks motoadventure called it quits with Polaris. Bought 2 sleds, a trailer, and $10K worth of parts through them over the years. Now I got to go find another dealer that I have to kiss azz to for another couple years to even get 15% off on parts... great... Might start heading up to Cheyenne or Laramie.
