Polaris 800 ves timing

Anyone know stock timing on a 800 ves at ....rpm?

With the switch at premium setting.

At the retarded setting also, if you know.

The timing curve, in other words.

I believe it is 29deg adv at 3250rpm and 16deg at 8000 rpm. I have the timing sheet from the manual around here somewhere. I'll see if I can find it and verify.

Double checked it is 29 deg BDTC at 3250 rpm +/- 500 rpm. The 8000 was also listed but I'm not sure you want to hold your sled at 8k to check the timing. The way I've done it is simply turn the idle screw up slowly until you reach a steady 3250 then check the timing. If you go to SLP'S web site you can find the directions on how to properly set and check your timing.

OH one more thing be sure your TPS is unpluged when setting/checking the timing
