Making room in storage shed and need to get rid of a bunch of 600/650 parts I purchased for an engine swap that never happened. Some of this was purchased off of e-bay, rest was purchased from fellow who had local Polaris dealership here about 12-15 years ago. Here we go....

-- EC60PL-02 600 block, crank w/ rods, cylinders and heads. S/N 84-02295 on lower case. Good shape, ready to use, stock bore on cylinders (could use a light honing). Rods have a little slop, center might be at 1/8" either direction limit. Purchased off e-bay two years ago as a combined auction from someone at Decker Racing in Wisconsin. Will only sell complete.
$350.00

--Set of three 600 heads good shape no pits $30.00/set

--Two 650 heads good condition w/ very small handling scratches $10 each

--Two cylinder head stiffener plates. Appear to be .090" thick. $5.00 each

--one set 3 EC65PL cylinders good to very good. With boots, appear to have been bored 1.5mm over to 678cc. Two measure 69.25mm, one measures 69.5mm--triple checked these measurements, same results. Light hone and they're good to go. $50.00/set

--One set EC65PL02 crankcases marked EC65PL03 s/n 90-02244 on upper case. Fair to good condition, some minor grooves in bearing area $10

--one set EC65PL01 cases marked 87-00254 Good condition no scratches in bearing areas other than some light cross-hatching (?). Marked .005" in marker on case. See note below. $30.00

--one set EC65PL02 cases marked EC65PL03 s/n 91-02658 Good condition one small nick in bearing area not deep at all. Possible evidence of cases having been line bored? Marked .010" in marker on case half. See note below. $40.00

--one set EC65PL02 cases no markings. Good bearings, 7 cylinder studs installed. $10.00

--one crank w/ rods, no mag end bearing. Pins are welded, not sure if rods are in spec, good core crank. $45.00

--one crank with all bearings and rods, un-welded pins ? rod spec. Another good core crank. $50.00

-- two 2/3 cranks PTO & center journals on both. One welded and other not. $20.00 each

--two individual journals, one mag, one PTO without bearings unwelded $10. each

--Three flywheels marked FP6382. One stock. Other two appear to have been drilled for balance. $10.00 each

Other assorted parts include:

--Jackshaft, stator, coolant rails, brake cooler from '85 Indy 600.

--5 stators conditions unknown.

--3 sets ignition coils

--5 front coolant rails, 4 rear coolant rails, 4 recoil assemblies in various stages of disrepair.

Note on crankcases marked .005" and 010"--Got these from a fellow who used to own the Polaris shop in town. Him and ontother fellow were partners in a machine shop, so these sets may hav been milled for higher compression.

All prices do not include freight. PM me with questions and I will do my best to answer them. Freight quotes will take one to two days to figure as parts are not boxed for shipping yet. I accept Paypal, but USPS money orders work best for me. Thanks for looking through this big list, hope I've got something you need. If you need pics let me know. Thanks!

Keepin' it fresh!

TTT Again!!

REASONABLE OFFERS CONSIDERED!! THIS STUFF NEEDS TO MOVE!!!

what parts do you still have left?

thanks

Only things I've sold so far are a set of 650 heads and stiffener plate, a couple water pumps and a couple stators. There is one Snowest forum member who lives in the same valley here who was interested in cranks, but has not returned my calls or PM's that I've sent in the last week or so (we've traded PM's since mid-December though). There is also a fellow on the Hardcore Sledder forum that contacted me on the 600 motor I have but have not heard back from him yet. Here is a link to pictures of the 600 motor on Photobucket.com :

Biggest problem is that I will be having the first of two foot surgeries this week, and won't be up to hobbling through the snow to get to my shed where the parts are for a while. Won't be fully back to work till first part of May.If someone is serious about purchasing something or needs more information, I can recruit some of my in-laws (outlaws?) to help me. Thanks for looking!

Still here.....

To the top for another season--these need to go!!!

The wife's told me she will pay me to take 'em to the dump :D be a shame to let 'em go to waste...

Starter or stator?

If it's a starting motor for electric start that you're looking for, unfortunately I don't have one. I have I think 3 or 4 stators with the excitation and pulse coils on them for the ignition however. Check with a dealer to see for sure, but I think the ones I have will fit, but I don't know for sure exactly what years of motor they are off of. Thanks for looking!!
