polaris 4 wheeler help

i got 3 of them a 03 500 04 500 atp and 06 700

all of them when you put them in reverse the 4X4 light goes out and there 2x4 how do i fix these other than selling them and buying real 4 wheelers?

this has ruined my day 3 times now?

Do they have the little yellow button on the left for getting more power in reverse? That button also gives you 4x4 when in reverse. That's how the Scrambler works anyway.

The reverse speed override is the problem. You can wire it direct and bypass it.

How do you direct wire it?
Have never pulled it apart but do you just bypass the button and connect the wires directly together?

I called the poo dealer but if I remember right the speed cutout looks like a small black square like a relay bolted under left side plastic by tank and you just unplug it and plug into direct. You need to give dealer your model and he can tell you what wires to cross than you can have reverse races! please post results and pics
