Polaris 3 year warranty scam!

Hey guys, when I snowchecked my sled I bought it on the premise I was getting a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty as the option I chose. I got my Polaristar warranty info packet today and it says that all I have is a 3 year powertrain warranty. I have one document that lists the option as a 3 year bumper to bumper but all the rest just list it as a 3 year esc and don't tell the details. Does anyone still have all the snowcheck brochures that showed it was a bumper to bumper offer or printed off the original offer on polaris' website? I need proof that that was the offer. My dealer claims all they were aware of was a 3 year esc that did not include the words bumper to bumper but will go to bat if I have documents and proof. They are looking for some left over papers as well. Check your deals guys and gals!

This is the Canadian deal. Does the US deal still say 4 year bumper to bumper?

Hmmm, so they did it to you guys as well then? I can find all kinds of posts online of people clearly talking about 4 year bumper to bumper for the US.

Polaris has changed from the original offer we all signed our snowcheck contracts for!

Someone has to have links or copies of the original deal with the wording "bumper to bumper" on it.

yeah, no where did I ever see a reference to a 4 year bumper to bumper deal, just the 4 year powertrain deal

When I picked mine up I was told Powertrain warranty. It seems like they are doing this to squash motor concerns preventing people from buying.

I snowchecked a 2012 and from my understanding it was 1 year bumper to bumper and the rest was powertrain. Actually I think it was clearly written on the website when I built my new sled before I sent it to the dealer.

B.S.

I looked at this at snow check time. Your better off buying an aftermarket warranty that covers everything for the same money. Does the Polaris warranty have a $50 deductible too.

I don't think polaris has to honor online posts of what people think they are getting.

Some people just get excited about getting a new sled and forget to pay attention to the details. They were all there when you signed on the line.

Its not about honoring online posts on forums, its honoring what was the original offer. When the Polaris website first started its snowcheck options in March it said 3 year Bumper to Bumper in Canada and I am 95% sure 4 year bumper to bumper in the US. I have a form that was filled out at my dealer that also has this on it but all the rest just said 3 year warranty. I signed one that said bumper to bumper. I know what I signed for because I was quite upset the US got 1 year more than Canada and did a lot of checking.

The point is that what was on their snowcheck site and offer forms is different than what is on their site today.

I dont buy any sled mags but maybe someone can find an add in an old copy that has the snowcheck details from back in march, or an original brochure, or form, or something. I have one but need more.

There are definitely those here that clearly remember it was 4 year bumper to bumper originally during snowcheck, but now only are told powertrain at time of pick-up.

Re. my 2011 for what it's worth; the dealer receipt clearly states "4 year bumper to bumper". The Polaristar Protection Plus contract shows 48 mos term and a $50 deductible. My dealer explained that the $50/occurence kicks in after the first year.

Contract indicates that covered components include "The Contract provides Mechanical breakdown coverage for repair or replacement of all factory-installed mechanical and electrical operating parts on the vehicle. Replacement shall be made with genuine new or rebuilt Polaris/Victory parts, when possible. Coverage includes fluids and labor when required as part of a covered repair. See section 4, exclusions." Exclusions read to be standard stuff...

2012 contracts don't read like this?

This is exactly the info I am looking for, I need a copy of that on something official from Polaris. I will pm you my info.

I chose the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty option and when I received my warranty service agreement in the mail today from polaris it was only a 3 year powertrain warranty. My dealer didn't even realize it was different. Not what we signed on the dotted line for.

Also found this... wondering if those that say "three year" really mean year one + three years? Could just be semantics?
