Yeah u can buy them. I dont need them. they r just taking up space. Where r u at? I was just riding up in tomahawk and minocqua area and i went right past the cops. They hardly knew i was there but then again i knew they were there so i kinda idled on by. I have the same slp setup as you.
I was right behind Paul Bunyans bye Mic Donalds in minocqua!! How much?

No. Im not up there anymore. I had problems with cooling while i was up there and cracked my plastic so i got pissed and left! lol. You should be able to use your slp head but im not sure about your ecu after it was reflashed for the pipe and can. you may have to get it flashed back to stock. If you are interested in the stock pipe and can you should pm me. Maybe we could meet somewhere!
why does the cop care what pipe you have on there...???
its not much louder if any then the stock setup...unless your can is stupid loud..
did he give you a fix it ticket...if not...forget about the swap...hide next time, lol..
ALSO...if yo[u do go back to stock (Boooo) then you NEEEEEEEED to get the ECU reflashed back to stock as well, and lose the extra HP you have now (booooo)

Haha you would say that Sean, but I'm gonna have to agree. I am always more tame in known Popo areas and with my sportbike experience, I wouldn't wait around and see what they want. Unless they are riding a mean looking sled, willing to chase, Bye.
#1. tell him to go pull his Harley out of the garage and you both sit there and hammer on them and see whose is the loudest.
#2. learn to stay off the happy lever when your in town.
More importantly....... So your sayin there's more HP to be had with the SLP pipe flash????
I highly doubt there is a "law" that states you have to have the stock pipe/can on your sled, use what you have sensibly and you "shouldn't" have a problem.
i am not saying the SLP reflash is more HP..but the ECU mapping is designed for the SLP pipe...i know that if you have an SLP flash and a stock pipe..you will be rich for sure..and vise versa...go back to stock flash for stock pipe..
or stay with your current setup and forget what the stupid cop thinks you need to do..sorry to be blunt..but no way will a cop tell me i cant have mods on my stuff..regardless

I agree with what u r saying but cops r a b!tch in northern wisconsin! He probably got told to fix it in a certain amount of time or they will give him a ticket. Ive seen STOCK cats pulled over and told to put a quieter pipe on or go home! Your not supposed to be above so many decibels but u can usually get away with it if u can lay off the throttle a little when ur in town or around a lot of people!
I have a idea! the cops that pulled me over didnt now anything about my sled. So i was thinking bout takeing sum high temp spray paint and painting my pipe/can black and covering SLP with some pipe wrap!! So it will look stock sence SPL isnt loud until like 7G witch is 77mph on mine.

The police/dnr don't care what brand your exhaust is, so long as it's in proper working order, and you're not being a moron and rapping on it around town or people. You can have any brand of exhaust you want, as long as that's what keeps your sled quiet.
Sounds like your insistant on playing their game.... So, I've got a stock pipe and an SLP can, it's just as quiet as stock. Wanna work out a trade for your SLP Pipe/can combo? I've been told the cans are different if I want to go with their pipe.

There is no law in WI against having an aftermarket exhaust system! You can put on any exhaust that you want, as long as it is no louder than the state maximum acceptable levels. and those levels are fairly liberal. The SLP system should pass the test. So do not worry about it right now.
So, Was the cop "Trojan" (yes, I live in the area) and I had a 900 fuse, and a 900 switchback.
