PMS kit going to the dyno

I also got a cheap SLP set-up. Pipe, Can, Y-Pipe. If I run the Y-Pipe and Pipe though a 2010 stock muffler, how far back, on HP, from BMP and Dyno Port? Would it be more than running full SLP set-up?

2010 Dragon 800 with Fix and Trail Porting. Yellow injectors, April 2010 Flash. Just can't go back as the April flash has all stumble removed.

Have yet to bolt up the SLP system.

It is a little off topic, but I spoke with Jim at dynotech today about the problems I am having with my PCV (it is not working right) and he is looking for someone to come out to his shop with there sled and a fix kit. It can already be installed or he said he would install it plus free dyno time if anyone is interested he said to give him a call.

Wow! That's a deal I wish I lived a little closer, I hope who ever takes him up on this offer posts the result. I would love to see them:face-icon-small-hap I also think PMS should send him a kit, having a outside person test your stuff and say it goods is like gold in this bussiness!

I agree, I wished I lived closer and had more time, he said if someone doesn't take him up on his offer he will probably buy a kit and test it anyways.

he is stressing out on the fact that a bunch of us went back to the original head and flash, because of how lean the original map is.

I asked Jim last week about a map for the PCV coupled with "Fix Kit" and the 08 Flash and he said that he did not have one. He also mentioned that he should put a "Fix Kit" sled on the dyno and that it would a great project.
He was concerned about the midrange if I was to just use 08 Flash with out the PCV but I guess that could be with any Flash after 08. He also thought that the 2010 Flash with his 2010 PCV map might be ok, and thats when he said he should put the "Fix" on the dyno and it would an interesting project.
I thought I would go with the 08 Flash as recommended by PMS and some already proven maps by "Jeff95" on this forum. I have not ran this map & 08 Flash yet but I did a compression test on the "Fix Kit" and got 141 and 142 PSI. I'm 250' elevation.
I would love to see the dyno map results on this set up.

Wonder if he would accept a different brand of the fix kit? Im not to far away.

Just getting ready to put "The Fix" in tonight and have it reflash to the 08 flash I think I'm going to use My PCV with Dynotechs 157 map and add fuel on top(leans it a little) and leave the middle alone( fat ) It's kinda odd both piston are 4 corner scored and look like I ran them lean. Got me kinda worried I have other issues!

The true fix kit from MTNTK

208-652-7738 is the number to call to get a fix kit, MTNTK HAS NOT been contacted by pvc about a kit to go with pvc, I am sure MTNTK would entertain the idea. As far as a different fix other companies can try to copy but they need to call it by another name. (OH BY THE WAY MTNTK IS THE ONLY company that actually has a new piston for the 800 RMK ENGINE whatever they're throwing in the kits good luck.) As far as the fix being dynoed, MTNTK has already dynoed the fix kit (they have their own) and bikeman performance dynoed the kit as well. 1400 kits sold, with a ton of those fix kits over 3000 miles with only the 08 map in them. Pretty good results. Now I am not saying things cant improve, I am just saying MTNTK DID 2 years of testing before ever selling to the public. Hope this helps. If you want to email MTNTK their email is Mtntkdyno@gmail.com Have fun on the snow everybody.

I don't think Dynotech is trying to step on anyone's toes. I think he just wants to help everyone out that he sold a pcv to. He did not just sell pcv's to the guys out west he sold to us flat landers as well. I absolutely love what MTNTK and PMS has done for us. You both have been great to work with. My sled has not run this good since I bought it, but I know for a fact that if I ran my sled at home 0 to 3,000 ft. with the fix kit , the 08 flash and head it would not run here with out the pcv and the map that dynotech gave us.

I tried to run 12.1 like dyno tech said with my slp set up. Pig rich. the stoutner 157 is lean on top for my set up. Have set up a few auto tune map to try this week end. Kind of shooting in the dark with out knowing what af to hit. I am running 13.3 with fuel added on top of the stoutner map.
