Plasma Wall Mount

Anybody got any recommendations for a wall mount for a 42 inch plasms TV?

Don't want to spend a fortune, but don't want the thing falling off the wall either.

I bought this angle iron at the local hardware store that has holes punched every inch.

I cut 2 pieces, one for wall, one for TV.

Lage screw one into wall.
Bolt the other to the back of the TV.
Now hang the TV on the wall with its angle iron resting on top of the wall angle iron.
Secure them together with a couple bolts.

Very simple, very in-expensive, but no swivel.

just place them on the floor then u wont have to worry about falling down and break it :D

The mount for my new 52" LCD has tilt and swivel, was $250'ish. Very secure lag mounting to studs and had brackets that bolted into the back of the TV. I could do pull ups on it if I wanted to and the piece of mind is worth it.

Amazon.com . I am in the home electronics business. I match prices to amazon. so I make no money. Wood studs? Good lag bolts with a 16" spread will hang just fine. Enjoy

my bad ..I thought it said Plasmas ,....Walmart ??? in which they have ...included in ther customer suryvey program alonf with face recognition and marketing analysis....silly me wrong thread

Thanks for the info guys.

One more question. I am moving a TV to my bedroom. All I have there for cables is the cable for my internet with my computer. Is this the same cable I would plug into my TV? Should there be a second one?

I just bought two wall mounts with the tilt feature off of Ebay for 27.99 with free shipping. Just type in plasma tv wall mounts in the search and there you go.

way cheaper than buying them at walmart

Amazon and Tigerdirect.com both have some pretty good mounts for not much money.

I would recommend an adjustable tilt. Does your room need a swivel? How about an arm? My room only needs the tilt.

Pay attention some mounts will not work with certain TV's but they will usually say.
