Those are just as they look. Pits and holes. I know it looks like grease spots but thats not the case.

Those are holes allright. I would be madder than a hornet and tell them guys they owe you another set of jugs and keep these for emergency backups. Tell us who did them so we all know who not to take ours to when they need re-done.

At this point I'm not going to name the plater because I have not spoken to them yet. I relized the problem last night and it was after business hours in the midwest. If this is not handled properly, you can be assured everyone will know who they are.

Anyone got 2 '04 SD 800 HO stock cylinders for sale?

No excuse for them to send them out like that. I can see how they could have gotten a bad coat and had to re-doo them, but not to send them out like that. They better pay for some over-night shipping!

Just wanted to update everyone. They told me to run them and I am. Willing to back them up. So far so good. They actually convinced me that they can actually help in lubrication.

New jugs, stock pistons and head. Actually pretty happy now without the drop-in and big bore.

I have ran similar jugs to what yours look like with no problems. Always check to see if there is flaking around them and none so far.

Myself i wouldn't run them, ask them if you blow a piston and a piece goes down into the crank if they will fix that as well or your head gets wrecked and will they buy your buds the :beer;:beer; for pulling you out?
