Piston change on -12/-13 models?

I've just done a piston change on my -11 PRMK(Wössner kit), but do anybody know if it's recommended to change pistons on the later models or if this was isolated to the -11 mod's?

The rumors said that the original pistons could go oval and in turn start banging the skirts against cylinder walls with the result that the pistons may crack and drop pieces down into the crankcase, therefore I was recommended to change before 1550miles(mine had just turned 2400miles)

11/12 motor is the same

13 has thicker cylinder skirts, same piston

14 has same thicker cylinder skirts, same ****ty piston but new pt number for new rings.

guys are having great success with their 13 and newer.... some COULD be going down from deformation, some from lack of oil from factory oil pump setting, some from oil cap causing starvation.

I would change pistons regularly in any 800 polaris that doesnt have warranty.
