Second day with epic snow and terrain!
The Recluse clutch dont work with the turbo. It slippes hopeslessly. Have adusted the freeplay as specs.
I think that my oil is wrong. Runnin Motul 300V, the yellow/green.
My buddy Jonas that has the same setup, runs Motul 7100, the red, hasn't felt any slip. Gonna order a new set of friction discs and switsh to Motul 7100. If I still will slip, my stock clutch will unfortunalely go on. I really like the Rekluse!

We have discovered a design flaw on the rails.
The new bottoming rubber cushions has done its job but unfortunately it turned out that the rail design is not sufficiently strong beneath the impact rubber.

The solution is to redesign new rails with a truss structure beneath the impact rubber that makes them much stronger.
While we cut out the new rails we take opportunity remove upward hook at rear and go for straight rails.
We also adjust the shaft height in order to accomodate 8" rear wheels instead of 6"
A small cutout for a connecting strut in the rails upper edge just in front of the rear wheel will make them stronger and prevent any flex.

The new reinforced bogie are completed.
They now lack the upward hook in rear and are completely straight. Larger 8" rear wheels.

It is this cross pattern under the impact the rubber that makes them more robust.

Made new holes for connecting struts on the new rails. By tying them together they should become stronger with less flex.

WOW! This thread is currently the most viewed in the Snowest forum snowbike secton!

I'm sorry, the links of the drawings in this thread are unfortunately not updated.
The reworked design of tunnel panels, chaincase rim, skids and the ski mount are missing in the dropbox link.
If you make the step to start a build of this snowbike kit, send me a PM and I will send you the final DWG-file design.

We have moved on to our next build. You find the thread here https://www.snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=407962
No drawings of this build will be avaliable.

A swedish facebookgroup of many different designs of DIY snowbike builds can be found in this link https://www.facebook.com/groups/396600943744321/
