There appear to be 3 different pipe/can designs for the 96-99 670 Summits.
1) The base 96-97, cylindrical style can
2) The 98 version, which I think is for the HO model (was the X model?), suitcase style can. Same 97 style was on non-X models.
3) The 99 version, which has an envelop thing around the pipe. Same suitcase style can, pipe is different
Does anyone know if the 99 manifold (y-pipe), pipe and can will fit on the 97 model?
