Pinedale/Horse Creek ?

Picking up new sleds in SLC tomorrow (12/19) and then heading to Pinedale. Planning on taking the 27' enclosed trailer. Here's the question: are you guys parking in the parking lot or having to drive up farther? Do I need to bring the small 2 -place instead of the 4-place?

Pinedale/Horse Creek

Last weekend drove to second bridge and unloaded there. We have got some storms since. Probably will be riding from the parking area this weekend. Still pretty slim up there might be better off going somewhere closer to SLC.

Horse Creek Snow

Last Saturday I parked at the first parking lot and road in. The trail was a little thin (not like MN snirt thought), but we found some pretty good snow once we got back in a ways. Not much for a base underneath, pretty much all powder, right down to the dirt. 2 -3 feet in many places, but we have gotten more snow since then, and there is more snow in the forecast for the next 5 days.
