Michigan pinecones don't get much bigger than the testicles of a small bird.
That looks like a victim of the BFH just south of South Range, MI. Been there a few times, but I've never rolled down. Seen some carnage there though.

That is the hill down in South Range, but the failure wasn't because of a roll. He was in the groove when it narrowed down a bit. The front end collapsed when it couldn't ride up out of the groove.

Yep. There aren't that many ridable hills of any size in the UP and only the locals know the name of this one, so it just gets called 'the BFH' by us tourists. It is a fairly long hill and it can be hair-raising due to the lack of snow and icy, rutted, rocky conditions.
