Has anyone tried the Pilot DS ski on a rev. I road them on the new XP and they side hill way better than the old ski. I was thinking about putting a set of these on my Rev they are pretty reasonable at $250.

I would try it...I swithced to them on my XP...if you want more bite in the corners add studboy shaper bars...4 or 6" of carbide-BJ

Totally agree. Best difference I thought when I rode the demo E-Tec last spring. Felt it helped the handling more than the narrow front end myself!

I guess it will depend on how your sled is setup, but I couldn't stand the new skis....they don't turn :face-icon-small-dis. Let 2 other guys try them on their older XP's and they gave them back with the same opinion. They make good ice-cube trays IMO.

I would agree didn't turn every well on the trail, but when off trail these things made the XP way easier to tip up. I rode the old skis and these new DS skis side by side off trail and I was very impressed with how they worked off trail.
On the trail they pushed in the corners a bunch.

Hey Winter Brew does that mean you have a good deal on a used set?

I actually didn't notice any ill effects on the trail, but I was more tuned into the engine and ride quality of the rear skid. I thought the ski lift was do to the narrow front end and not the skis.......only noticed how they rolled and held a sidehill better in powder and set-up snow. I didn't mind them at all, but I think the Pilot 6.9's are a great ski too.....most disagree with me on that one.
