Put in a 2005 driveshaft today. I am not going to be waiting for that shaft to fail. Mine looks like it is a (good) one however. Too bad I bought $300 in Avid drivers before the failures started. I would take $750.00 from Polaris as a smooth over.

Mud,

what track are you running on your 13? I think I can count 9 tooth drivers on your shafts. 2.52 pitch?

The 2005 900 RMK shaft is different from the 2006-2010 RMK/Dragon driveshafts.

Not sure if that difference will matter though.

Would be great to see some pics of the 2005 shaft installed in the sled.

Great work SSABMUD

I am running a 166" track with all the windows cut. Good eye guys. Pretty sure any driveshaft from 2005 up will work. BTW, the weight difference is minimal. I bought it off eBay for $99.00 and it had very little wear. One caution, change the bearing on the clutch side to a rubber sealed bearing.
