All New Updated Design!
Available in Natural (Uncoated) or with a Black Specially Coated finish
That "all new updated" has been there for 2 years I believe.
I'm sure F-Bomb will chime in to clarify though.
I believe that these boards, which are on Robs personal PRO RMK are the "updated" design.
A bit diff in the toe box and drop bracket area than 2 years ago... boards are same IQ/PRO.
The only "new" change I know of is that they made the cleats shorter so that your foot did not sit up higher than the outside support bar on the board. This was huge for me as I liked the bar for grip. Good change. BB's rock!
I have had Betterboards on my last two sleds and now I all ready have a set for my new Pro once it gets here this fall. I like the sets for my '10 Dragon and new Pro a lot more than the first set I had for my '08 600.
Here is a pic of the first pair I had. Notice the number of blank cleats up front and the tall cleat height.
And here is a pic of them on my "10 Dragon. It has the 2 extra cleats up front compared to my first set and the lower cleat height.
The set I have waiting for my Pro looks identical to the ones I had on my Dragon. The cleat height appears to be the same along with the number of cleats and the spacing.
I also have a set of footwell blockoff plates/vents waiting for the Pro too. I believe that between the footwell plates, Better Boards and a Tunnel wrap there won't be much for any snow buildup.
I ordered some better boards made of thicker metal after talking with the guys at the snow show in Denver earlier this year. Same design, just stronger. This was on a M but I believe they were available for other models as well. Btw they work great!
Well I just installed a set of Better Boards on my Pro a couple days ago and let me tell you, these are truly BETTER than the stock boards. the snow does NOT stick, no build up, the cleats are the perfect height. They are just high enough to where you still have the outer rail to keep you foot in the board and they are just aggressive enough to allow for optimum traction, but not too sharp to tear the heck out of your boot. They are a very strong aluminum too, much stronger than the weak stock boards. Here is a couple pics of the boards. I don't know if they are the new and improved, but they were just installed a couple days ago...

And as you see in this pic, there is snow on the boards, but not where my feet were, this is after no kicking, or sweeping which would take the snow away in the first pass. This was after climbing in two plus feet of spring pow snow.
All in all if your in doubt don't be, by far the one of best mods i have done!
