dry weight was 350 , figured it would have come in heavier but is what it is .
has 60 liter gas tank capacity if one feels the need for the extra fuel . gets me two days worth of riding in the trees.
donor sled was a 98 doo and we used the chain case and shafts and brake from that year doo . could loose 30 lbs in the drive shaft and cross shaft and brake disc but no need as it is already over all light enough .
motor compartment is steel and the rest is chrome moly tube .full length tunnel coolers came out of a yammaha running board coolers LOL"S
It is very tough as the trees and rocks would attest to .
those that have followed it thru the trees will tell ya it is nearly impossable to follow as it will turn and fit into places a normal sled wont go.
sorry on a 1000 ever getting this make over H2o ski but my personnel opinion on the 1000 isnt pretty.yes it would be a sick one but the electronics on a 1000 na . had contemplated carbing one and looseing the rave valve system but this block has its own special issues.
