About 2 to 3 feet. Had a good ride. Carved, and climbed most of the day. with another couple feet riding should be a lot better. Still have to watch out for hidden rocks and stumps. I didn't anything all day and was off trail most of the time. Just lucky I guess

I drove out to the left turn off about 28 miles from Alpine and then unloaded and road up to the Blind Bull cabin area. Might head back out this Thur. Let me know if you want to join me. Should be cold, but what ever...

Does anyone know if there is enough snow to get to Blind Bull from the Pinedale side?

thanks for the pics looks like one more storm and it should be golden

Yes, it sounds like you can. Some of the guys I met at the warming cabin came up from the Pinedale side. They said there was a dicey river crossing near Test Hill, but other than that it sounded OK.

Thanks, I think I'm going to try getting up there this weekend.

Thanks! good info.

Appreciate the pictures. I get asked about conditions daily. Wondering if anyone has ridden "Willow Creek" out of Bedford. Although the Willow the snotel site doesn't show snow in inches, the water content is quite a bit higher than showing at Blindbull. Could be more than we think. It's been socked in for several days.
Thanks Again, Rob (Rockin' M Ranch and Snowmobile Rentals)

Hello Rob, Not sure about Willow Creek. I can tell you I personally took a look at the blind bull snotel and the snow there was about the lowest I found in the general area. The snow there must have gotten some wind movement. It was showing about 20 inches on the stake which is what the website had for it also. I dug down in some other areas and had trouble finding the bottom. Had to of been around 3 feet +/-.

I see you’re in the sled rental business. Do you know of anyone that rents sleds from the Alpine area that you would recommend? Looking for a few sleds over the X-mas holiday. If you or anyone else knows I'd appreciate it. Thanks...

Heading up Sat morning most likely should be a little warmer and possibly more snow. So 28 miles up the canyon is there a few spots to park or just wherever you can.

We are running 15 sleds 10 Ski-doos and 5 Polaris. 550's 600's 800's. Give us a call at 307-654-2288

Hello Rob,

Thanks for the info. Funny thing is after my post to you asking what and where you rent sleds from I googled sled rentals in Alpine and your website came up. I'll call you if our group decides to take a day over the holidays and ride. How is your availability looking for a couple sleds say around the 27th?

thanks

I take it you didn't go today? Was hoping you did! I'm not that familiar with that area always at bedford, smith fork, sheep creek, palisade peak and pokers. Never been up their just because of long trail ride. My friends have though. You gonna head up any time soon

A little to cold for these bones today. BoxY showed 24 below at 6am. My wife and I may head back up Sun.
