phazer low idle

I picked up a 2007 phazer shorty for my kid and I am having some trouble's and am hoping for some advice. The idle is low, at 1250 and it has a flat spot when you pin it from idle. The manual says the idle should be 1800 and if I hold the idle up and hit it the flat spot seems to be better so I tried to adjust the idle up. The idle screw is is turned all the way clockwise so I cannot turn it up past 1300 rpms. The owners manual says how to adjust the free play but it seems to me that either the tps needs adjusted or the throttle stop. the throttle stop has yellow locktite on the screw and nut and looks like you are not supposed to change it? Any help would be appreciated. I tried to take it to the dealer, they charged me $350 to change the o-rings on the injectors and when I got it back it still ran like crap and was throwing a code because they forgot to plug in the air temp sensor. So I won't be taking it back there.

If the sled still ran like crap you should have taken it back and made them hold up there end of the deal which is to complete a job. You should also check with them regarding if there is a remaining warranty or call yamaha your self and see if you can purchase an extended warranty and get it taken care of. Seems like something in the computer has been messed with or the efi is not registering correctly. Have you changed the plugs yet? Have you seen if it will idle correctly with the belt off-to much tension?

The warranty ran out in november, so i'm out of luck there. As far as taking it back, If they can't even test run a sled to make sure its right i'm not confident enough in there abilitys to waste anymore time with them. If it turns out it has to go to a dealer I'll find a different one to take it to. Does any know if it takes computer software to make tps and throttle body setting changes?
