phaser mtx

I posted a few days ago about how the nytro handles and hold up and the response was good, so I'll try again. How are the phasers holding up? Any known problems, reliabilty issues? I know the HP is low on these but the prices are hard to beat. I have seen used ones for 4,000-5,000$ Add a turbo and your still under a stock nytro and pushing 140-160HP. Also with the turbo are they still as reliable as the apex or nytro? I'm trying to decide between the two to possibly purchase over the summer. Adding a second sled.

The hole in the tunnel needs to be covered (it is on the newer ones). The foot rails either need to be drilled-out, install better boards, or install heat exchangers to keep them clear of snow. It's a pain in the a$$ to change the oil, but you only need to do it once a season. And the cold start problem needs to be addressed because she does not like to start below 0 degrees (there is a recall on this, so Yamaha should fix it for free). Other than that she's a good little sled in stock trim. She's not going to win any races or hill-climbs without a blower, but she'll almost always get you home for dinner.

Max:D

There reliability goes way down on boost but i hear there a fun little sled as long as climbing the steep isn't your thing. the local dealer here has 09 on sale for 5699 so I wouldn't look at used when prices are 4500 to 4800 :beer;

I have a 07 turbo phazer. It has 5000 km (3200mi), 3000 km boosted. Still running as good as the day I bought it. Only thing done to it are typical wear items at those miles.
