You want people to work?
Stop paying them to NOT work.
You want to curb crime?
Ramp up punishments until the tipping point is reached.
The tipping point is what I refer to as where an individual realizes that the reward is not worth the risk.
Turn the prisons into labor camps instead of hotels.
See? Not complicated at all.
Perhaps I should have phrased it differently. It is hard to let the bleeding hearts of our country see people suffer when it is their choice to suffer. Granted I feel as obligated to my fellow countrymen as anyone, but those who can't do anything for themselves deserve a darwin award.
