does a PCIII come with a cord that hooks from the computer to the PCIII or do you buy that separately? i just bought a used PCIII new in box for my 09 assault and i cant figure out how i can load a fuel map on it.

Yes, comes with a USB computer link cable, CD, and nine volt jumper wire. I just got one and am in the process of figuring it out. Guess I need a map next.
Yes. I'm using the SLP map on my PCIII and I have been very happy with it.
they should come with it but being used it might not have. You can download the programm on dyno jets website and the cable to link it to your computer is just a usb cable that most cameras use.

so you can power up the power commander 3 for when you hook it to the computer. The usb won't supply power to the module.
so without the 9 volt jumper wire how do i load a map?

hmm good question. not sure if that will work or not.
OK i think i have everything figured out. you can power up the PCIII with the sled to load a map with a laptop. i downloaded the software and i am ready to install a fuel map. if anybody wants to share a map with me or knows the best map to use that would be great. i have a stock 09 assault with an hps can, yellow injectors (if that matters), updated/recalled motor with the flash that came with the recall.
