Please give us ride updates as you compare the sleds.Looking forward to 9R as well.
Have one of each on the way in identical trim.
Will see which is the better sled.

Did you install the waste gate correctly after removal? I recall this was a major issue last year when guys kept taking them apart.Ok, I finally installed the Silber can and was able to get out for a short ride Sunday.
Sled has a horrible low end bog now about 75 percent of the time.
Has Anybody else been able to put some miles on and have any issues?
What was the “incorrect way” to install the waste gate?Did you install the waste gate correctly after removal? I recall this was a major issue last year when guys kept taking them apart.
I know a number of guys IN AK thst have miles on thrm already with 0 issued.

The shaft controlling it gets installed 90* off so it'd not properrly indexed ans the wastewater operates totally wrongWhat was the “incorrect way” to install the waste gate?
You likely didn't as its not necassary. I just wanted to point it out. As sometimes guys get a little carried away taking parts off ans they find themselves back on the sled and out of order.I don't think I even had to fully remove or disassemble it to install the can;
I don't see how it could go together wrong.
If there are guys riding with no issues I will look things over again when I have time.
Wouldn't the temp probe throw a code if it wasn't plugged in?
Actually wouldn't the waste gate if it was assembled wrong?

Do it.I looked things over again yesterday and see no issues;
No signs at all of exhaust leaks and the temp sensor connections look good.
What worries me is I had it in to the dealer for the recalls and didn't ride before I installed it,
so it's possible that it is something they did.
I may put the stocker back on and take it for another spin if we can get some more snow.
Well that's pretty disappointing to hear.Just swapped my brothers sled back to stock can and run ability issues went away.
Silber can made bogs, blubbering and fouling plugs. (2-3 a day)
I have a silber can sitting on the shelf waiting for install. Has an anyone else had any positive experiences with one? I will be watching this thread before I install and ruin a ride with it..Well that's pretty disappointing to hear.
I wonder why others arent having any issues with them?
Because not many people are riding yet.Well that's pretty disappointing to hear.
