PARKING

Out of state pays the same for stickers as residents. None the less, you guys do help maintain riding areas in WY. Im sorry you have to put up with stupid hillbillies that cant type and come up with ridiculous generalizations about out of state riders.

No problem, there's bad apples in every group.

Thanks.

out of state

I think that our tourism dollars count for alot, i dont think alot of places could survive just on the summer months. So, when we come out in the winter and spend money at these places they can keep prices down all year.

Oh, if you ever get hurt in the Snowies and they use the Rescue Sled it was donated by the Nebraska Snowmobile Clubs.

im ok with you leavin your couple bucks at home in your state and leavin us are pow pow alone goes double for colorado people no locals huh ya that makes sense all you guys do is come to are state ride up are snowmountains litter all over and then come jump on sites like this and bitch you really think we live on them couple dollars you bring so we starve come summer i just think it should be like hunting if you wanna come ride here you have to pay more for the tags since your to good to reside here you dont pay are state taxes

Hmm.. from what I could understand of your post I don't agree with you. I'm very glad we have a lot of out of state people coming to ride. The more the merrier in fact! :face-icon-small-hap

Do you think the lodges would be able to stay open if it was just locals? I can guarantee they won't make it a month, much less a season. Don't know about you, but I kind of enjoy being to get gas, something hot to eat, first aid, etc, even if I don't stay the night.

Starve through the summer? Not sure what is it like down in the snowies during the summer, but up here it is the big money making time of the year. Tourists baby! :face-icon-small-coo Oh and they do pay state taxes, how about sales tax and fuel taxes?

The more snowmobilers we have the better, strength in numbers. Now if we could just get everyone interested in standing together in keeping our riding areas open! By the way, I have never had a day of riding where I couldn't find untracked snow. Doesn't bother me to have lots of *gasp* out of state people riding.

Ok I'm done now, just had my fill of stupid today.

love how some people think that the land belongs to them only since they live in the state. we should be lucky to not be from there i guess. they dont even teach them the the difference between our and are. im sure he gets "board" in the summer when he cant ride his pow pow. :face-icon-small-dis

Personally I think everyone in CO should just go to the snowies every weekend so Rabbit Ears is left for the people in eastern utah :)

I could go get a couple of toothless meth heads to translate
you woudnt even have to haul them there. gillette has more than enough of them already.

i think this might be one of the funniest but yet dumbest threads i have read. every state would be ****ed if outsiders never came in. south dakota thrives off hunting. wyoming thrives off what???? oil and gas and coal, not there mountains.

I have yet to figure out what Nebraska thrives off of, and I've lived here my entire life.

I do feel a little guilty for using the West's mountains because we really don't have a whole lot to offer back to them. I wish I could find a reason for out-of-staters to visit my great state.

Lake Mcconaughy is used more by Colorado people and maybe Wyoming people, same issues as far as people and trash, and the best spots taken on the beach. Ogallala would not exist if the lake was gone, this is in my opinion the only real spot in Nebraska that would interest me in a recreation destination.

I totally agree, one of the best threads that has been in the Wyoming section for a LONG time. Too bad those toothless meth heads (that thought snowest was a cocaine forum) dont come and make completely ridiculous comments more often, so we can have some action in the Wyo section.:face-icon-small-win

just a thought

I used to live and ride in Laramie now I ride in the bighorns and am one of those out of state tourists. most of the guys we ride and have ridden with leave the keys with the rig ie gas door, spring perch ect. did anyone check there? Don't get me wrong still a di** move but I doubt it if he is dumb enough to park like that I am sure the keys are in his pocket:mad2:

O thats what this thread was about, a person that parked like a di**. I thought it was about industries and drug use in Wyoming and surrounding states haha :face-icon-small-coo. back to topic :face-icon-small-hap

Bruce, this has turned into a dam entertaining post. Started with bad parking and has gone to meth and cocaine heads LOL. See ya at Buds.

If more people would take 15 minutes out of there daily feeding on bashing the problems and spend it writing to their congressperson we might actually have a parking place big enough for all of us no matter where you are from.

I hope everyone signed the petition for the Greenrock parking upgrade that the local club is promoting.
