Palnning a trip to revy Jan 15-20th any ideas?

Four of us from Montana are planning a trip to revy and are wondering where to stay and ride? We all are experianced and wonder who to get to show us around. We are riding a fabcraft 1000 Cutler, XP 163, XRS 159, And a 06 Bikeman 151. We don't what to ride a bunch of trails so we are looking for some local knowledge to get us to the good stuff. We need ideas where to stay and if we ride from the lodge or trailer to different areas? We don't mind trailering the sleds if it avoids alot of trail miles.

You won't find a bunch of trails in Revy, there is a ton of open play areas. Post this in the Snow Conditions and Riding Areas section, you will get more results there probably.

Bring beacons and avy gear if you got em, or rent some for sure. I'm not sure what you mean by "experienced", I've seen tons of experienced riders get into hairy situations and trouble. Revy is a nice area, but some of the riding is extreme with a capital E. You will probably have to trailer to the trailhead depending on where you are going. Sorry, I will be in the Kootenays (about 3 hrs south of Revy) with my sled during that time or I'd offer to ride with ya if one of the locals doesn't.

there are several choices for lodging. you can stay in town at the Sandman(very good to sledders), but you will have to trailer to all your riding spots(not very far). you can stay at Glacier House, which has a hotel and also private cabins that you can ride right from your room. also try rob alford, he has a B&B and knows his way around revy very well. here's his website:http://www.logchalet.com/
hopefully this helps!
