Palin isn't smart enough to be President. I can only think of one woman who is smart enough and man enough, Condaleza (sp) Rice.
From our local paper:
Palin made a positive impression during her ‘07 stay in Deadwood
But Republican vice presidential Sarah Palin did more than pass through the state. Palin spent three days in Deadwood last year during the Western Governors’ Association meeting in mid-June 2007.
During the conference, the governors focused on energy policies, Rounds said.
They agreed to put carbon sequestration technology on a fast track, called for tax credits and the necessary funding to expedite large-scale projects, identify and develop the pipeline infrastructure needed and resolve issues related to risk and liability.
Following the session, they adopted a policy resolution, “Transitioning the West to Clean Energy and Energy Security,” which outlined actions to advance carbon sequestration and the region’s clean-energy resources. The governors wrapped up the 2007 meeting with a session on “Coping with Climate Change.”
Rounds said Palin was put in charge of one of the energy program and did an excellent job conducting it and involving others.
“She came in prepared,” he said. “She did not hog the limelight.”
Palin was “just a very nice person” to meet and talk with, Rounds said.
