I ended up getting too busy to finish the modifications and decided to purchase the 09 front end kit. It went on very easy. Should of done it in the first place!

How much is the '09 plastics?

$499. Spendy, but its a much better design. The metal bumper mounts directly to the bulkhead, giving everything else a solid place to mount to. Hood and nosepan are both connected to the metal bumper. Instructions are straight forward.

What are you using for rub strips on the rear tunnel?

I added some strips of 1/8" corrugated black rubber. The strips are a little under 3" wide. (the width of a can of spray paint - for the end radius) I roughed up the tunnel with a coarse sanding wheel in my die grinder. Cleaned everything with brake cleaner. Glued it to the tunnel using high temp black RTV silicone.
