I ended up getting too busy to finish the modifications and decided to purchase the 09 front end kit. It went on very easy. Should of done it in the first place!

I have all the parts but have been busy with home projects. It will probably wait until next season.
What did you use to lighten your spindles? I like it!

What are you using for rub strips on the rear tunnel?
I added some strips of 1/8" corrugated black rubber. The strips are a little under 3" wide. (the width of a can of spray paint - for the end radius) I roughed up the tunnel with a coarse sanding wheel in my die grinder. Cleaned everything with brake cleaner. Glued it to the tunnel using high temp black RTV silicone.
