Our first trip to Alpine WY. Any tips?

We will be arriving January 2nd and staying for a week. Staying at the Rockin' M Ranch. I am sure they can answer most of our questions , but it's nice to get some other input too! We have everything we need so there is no need to rent or anything like that. Also if the snow is marginal what's a reasonable (1 to 2 hours drive) destination to trailer to in the morning and back at the end of the day if need be. Idaho? Togwotee? South? Thanks in advance!

Do a search in the Wyoming forum and use tags like "Greys", "Alpine", and "Thayne". It should pull up threads with everything you need to know.

For bars go to the bull moose lodge. Yankee Doodle is good for breakfast. Tootsies has good pizza and subs. If you want steaks go to flying saddle for dinner. And if your going to Jackson go to bubbas for some good BBQ!

Yep everything he said, it might be worth it to trailer to togwotee just so you can stop at bubbas for ribs on your way home
