I want to make a decree that moderators should not be allowed to visit any other site on the web besides snowest!!

Does this mean I have to give back Doocrew Shirt and stickers?

Has or had, used to take an hr +- to browse new threads and interesting topics now it take's minute's. I need to be entertained, there's no entertainment here anymore

I wonder if the addition of so many subcategories spreads out the posts so much that people aren't in the main categores so much anymore.

Really hoping this turns around....seeing lots of new names and I hope they bring some stuff....right now it seems like lots of folks but not alot of info.

could be scott. At least in teh sled sub forums. Hard to find guys with knowledge for the older iron. Not that they aren't on here or willing to share....but everyone likes to hang out in the newer stuff. Why would a guy who has been off the Gen II for 3 sleds drop into that section....but if it's all one Poo section, they will see and drop in on a Gen II or Edge question.

So I get on here after not being on here for a few weeks, and I can't even read all the posts now? It tells me I have to be a paid member to read the rest of the thread. What a bunch of BS. It also says I'm over my pm limit, and I need to erase them.

I can't believe how fast this place is going downhill. I used to come on here 2-3 times a day, now it's 2-3 times a month, and everytime I look something else happens for the worse.

AGREE big time, I was in Idaho, Island Park, sledding last week and was trying to search the good ol Snowest for some insight on the area and found out i was not allowed to view cause of my "free membership" many times also I have not been allowed to view the remainder of the thread cause of my "free membership" i find it very discouraging for such a good site which in many years has provided excellent advice, insight and most of all good friends come to what it is now.

I did find out all the information i needed for a great trip on the "other free sites"

In all honesty, I think you would be hard pressed to find a forum with all the well-rounded, mountain specific enthusiasts that Snowest has. Just my personal opinion

Mountain specific???? Half of the people on here are from the midwest. Sure a lot of mountains in the Dakotas and Minnesota
Maybe you should rephrase your post to "ditch bangin specific enthusiasts."

Just because alot of us are from the midwest does not mean we aren't mountain riding enthusiasts. So we have to trailer our sleds a little further..BFD.
