I have noticed alot of people are upset about having to pay to be a member to snowest i am one of them but owell s*** happens. So i was just wondering what are some of the other sites that most of the members will go to if they choose not to be a paying member at Snowest

In all honesty, I think you would be hard pressed to find a forum with all the well-rounded, mountain specific enthusiasts that Snowest has. Just my personal opinion

We will see how well rounded a site it is in about 6 months. We already lost some valuable people in the Riding area forums.

Has or had, used to take an hr +- to browse new threads and interesting topics now it take's minute's. I need to be entertained, there's no entertainment here anymore

this is very true. Lots of info that you got by visiting local threads is gone.

now I don't even recognize half the names posting in perf/modified or the sled specific areas. Lots of new names with very little posting, makes me leary of the info. Even some of the knowledge filled folks that stayed I think just did it for swap, etc.

We just need winterbrew to spread his knowledge to all areas.

As far as being on there more than anyone, I am assuming your referring to my post count over there..... If you have a look in the Max Thread over there (same EXACT purpose as the Max thread in this forum) you will find that 99% of those posts are just chit-chatting.

Oh, and thanks again for the 2 harassing PMs over there a couple weeks back, always nice to feel appreciated

So I get on here after not being on here for a few weeks, and I can't even read all the posts now? It tells me I have to be a paid member to read the rest of the thread. What a bunch of BS. It also says I'm over my pm limit, and I need to erase them.

I can't believe how fast this place is going downhill. I used to come on here 2-3 times a day, now it's 2-3 times a month, and everytime I look something else happens for the worse.

What happened to this place? Seriously....I log on every now and then but it seems to be the same crap over and over. Edited, moved, deleted posts/threads. Massive intervention on the Moderators part. Snowest used to be at the top. Now why would someone want to pay for this????
