• Course: Riders will navigate a small jump before climbing to 8,000 feet up the Rock Garden face
• Divisions: 600cc, 700cc, 800cc, 900cc
• Classes: Stock, Improved Stock, Modified, Open/Modified
• Best of two runs (timed)
• $25 pre-registration; $40 day of event
• 10am mandatory meeting
• HELMETS REQUIRED!

probably.. rules are kinda loose, on your honor stuff, pre-register and racing is cheap..call Harmon as he runs it and would know.. the race is just F U N... if you try really hard you can bend your sled, but if you keep head in gear while racing, it is just a quick trip up the hill... I choose to bend things..

Last year I took a stock 800 and ran in five classes, 800 stock, IS 800, 800 Mod and pro-masters.. wifey beat some of the boys in 900 stock on her 800 stocker. (and dang near beat me in pro-masters). I think she took a 3 or 4 place finish.. so I'm sure there are some coming back for payback..

Woo am I being called out? I have to come out of retirement and defend my honor? While I'm half the man I used to be I'm sure I'll be there as is the tradition. Maybe I'll dust off the old 700 mod champ sled and put an "old school" beat down on her. Mike I found this photo in the archives for your enjoyment.

I think it's one of my "CHAMPIONSHIP" pictures..tee hee {SELF..jez talk about living in the past and resting on laurals...live in the now you old fool!}

and here is the sled that ran terrible, wouldn't turn, and basically tried to KILL me when I ate $hit at the top (man I wish I could find who ever has that video...one of the Hartman kids said they saw it and it's quote DUUUuuuuuUUDE that was *#**#^^ AWESOME...yea well it hurt like hell and isn't really the way you want to come back on your first run after a two year lay off) All of which I still blame on my mechanic and crew. The trailer bar will be CLOSED this year as interest waned severely after just a couple cocktails!

It's a great fun time and everyone who is within a reasonable distance to Anthony Lakes Ski Area outside of Baker City Oregon should come and run your sled up the hill. FUN FUN FUN...party with us afterwards isn't too shabby either. This year we'll put together some kind of fandango since BC is now my home away from home.

The hillclimb @ Anthony lakes is one of the best,it's a kick back have fun run what's you brung event.

Hey guys,
Went last year it is a fun place, had a blast. I am not shure about this year, I have completly beat the crap out of my sled and not shure if it can be fixed by then or if it is even worth fixing. and fuel prices are an issue with me this year, but I am going to try. Maybee I can blow past the last corner and get a good time this year?

I think there's alot of information missing. All the information posted locally says 40$ per class, three class max entry, Pro riders ride pro classes. The thing that makes this race fun is you can enter your stock 800 into 6 classes if you want. Stock is stock, imrpoved is can and reeds only and everything else is mod.

Hope that is not the case as we usually run 5-6 classes.. if that is the case, probably go tar racing
