Opinions on Lens Color for Goggles

I really like 89xi with auto shade but only if it's really bright out. To dark for my eyes on medium bright days. I put the yellow lenses in 90% of the time. I also like Rose. My buddy bought 509 and likes the goggle but needs diif color but a good goggle.

I have the Scott turbo flows and they work great, but on foggy overcast days have a hard time making out the terrain especially when they start to fog slightly you can see around and off the distance good but the upcoming terrain ahead of you on an open powdery field is hard on a foggy day is difficult I`m sure in this condition is a challenge for other colors . but I would like to know what everyone uses for this type of condition, not trying to highjack but seems this is the biggest trouble with goggles I have encountered, My sled can tell you that too, spent all summer modding everthing but motor and couldn`t see that hidden stump under the snow or the shape of the terrain and broke my sled and damn near my arm too.
Thanks.

I've got the photosensitive ones from Scott too. Love them. Clear at night and blue tint when the sun's out.

I have a set of those too and really like them, they get really dark on sunny days and ok on overcast usually, but are a little too dark on days when it snows heavy and there is absolutely FLAT light. I may get some yellow ones for those days, but I still love these ones for bright and moderate light days.

They seem to be ok in the dark too tho...

I prefer persimmon, which is an orange color. According to Spy and from my experience this is the best all around color. Knocks down the light on bright days, and enhances terrain on low light days. You will also find that your eyes adapt quickly to this color so it doesn't look like you are always looking through painted glass.
Many people like blue. It does work good on bright days. However, my experience is that you are always looking through blue. My eyes never adapted to it. Found it somewhat annoying.
Be careful with yellow lenses. Yellow brings light to it. It is intended for low light and overcast days. Wearing it on bright days can actually enhance the suns brightness and become harmful to your eyes.
Hope that helps
