Not often there is good snow at Ophir Creek but when there is its alot of fun. Unless of course you just ride the road and don't dive off into the deep powder fields that abound down the road. And with 27 inches of fresh it was amazing.
We went Saturday and Monday. Still some good deep powder on Monday but I imagine in the next few days it will be gone as it is warm down there now and melted alot while we were there Monday.
Now of course it was not as good as Grand Mesa when it dumps 3 feet or more in a single storm, but Ophir Creek is an hour and a half away. The down side is very little parking and of course the skiiers.
Well, off in two days to Grand Mesa sure hope the snow there is deeper than Ophir Creek!!!![Face Icon Small Shocked :face-icon-small-sho :face-icon-small-sho](https://www.snowest.com/forum/images/smilies/old/face-icon-small-shocked.gif)
