Open 2-place security ? Ideas ?

AKsnowrider - might want to delete that method cause it may give the thieves bright ideas they hadn't thought of.

I would imagine the theives already know that..I would rather let it stand so us honest peeps dont use a cable setup that is so easy to defeat....All anybody can do is use common sense, at least 2 styles of locking security(I would use a steel bar that slides thru the rear skids ,thru loops on the trailer with a sheilded lock), and park in areas to alleviate the likelyhood of someone messing with it, and finally have good insurance with quality pics of everything so if it does get messed with you can document whats gone...

have not done it on the deck yet as I have good insurance, but on my trailer for my atv I built a big horse shoe that drops over the axle and goes into a reciever hitch on the trailer, that gets locked with a guarded lock. not thft proof, but you will need a good battery or two since the bars are 1.25" and oil quenched. pretty easy to retro similar to sleds. I would lock them up individually so they have to work twice as long for half as much

Another nice trick for the enclosed trailers is the old baby monitors sitting in your attic. Great for the road trips when your trailer is close to your motel room.
