She rode most of it out but eventually rolled it near the bottom of the pic. ask Kaleb (backcountryislife) about it, he knows the exact story. but yeah i give her a lot of credit for not getting hurt and mostly saving the sled, i think she bent the steering column.
Yeah, she took a dive at the end. Could have been way worse, she held on till it front flipped & it stuck in the snow, had she let go it would have hit the NASTY boulder field below.

Actually the landings were really soft, just the right amount of slush!!
We're going kayaking this weekend, but we'll be back on the snow next weekend again most likely!

Rode Sun with DenR1 and SnoPro and let me tell you the conditions are waining fast. Doesn't look much like it did last week. It has been raining a lot even up at the top.
That being said there will still be some hard pack to play on come june. PM me when you get out here. We'll go ride some wheelies.

Yeah, next weekend won't be a pow fest, but if you're coming form the midwest where it hardly snows even in the middle of winter, it's still pretty cool!

Only got one week of riding in CO this winter and took my sled out twice in MN just because i was bored. the snow here is terrible. anyone from around the winter park/ fraser area that has been riding up toward steamboat??
Welcome to CO! My bro lives in Daluth, building airplanes. Used to get decent snow up there years ago. I got out of MN in 86
Buff pass/Tower snotel shows 80" up top, but all the TH's would be locked up for mud season
Yammerhammer usually camps somewhere over on the grizzly creek lot side for Memorial day. He might have some info.The snow is gone on the east side of Buff. I didn't go over the pass but the visual tells me it's a no go.
