On the scale, PRO RMK 155"

RTR weight is all that matters! I never leave the parking lot empty and plan on a full day ride. No one does! I always top mine off and hope that I have enough to make it home at the end of my ride. So why do people post dry weights, it means nothing. If a manufacture puts a larger tank of the snowmobile, it means that they need that much fuel to go a certain amount of miles. Have you noticed, sleds that get better mileage have smaller tanks. Post the RTR weight that is the only weight that you can compare!

Dry weight? As we all know, it's all about marketing. When you think about it they DO ship them out dry. Anyway if you want to shed some pounds, go on a diet , lose 20 lbs. Problem solved and it didn't cost you a penny.:face-icon-small-coo

was just trying to share some info!

Sorry for posting up some information about the weight on the Pro. I was just trying to share some info on the weight on the Pro as it have been discussed a bit her on SW.And in my naivety I though that some info was better than no info. I thought that by posting the amount of oil and gas in it and all other fluids topped off people could either add the weight for fuel and oil for rtr or subtract for dry weight.......

allpowersports... you & Beyatts should get together on a sled weighing clinic!!!:face-icon-small-sho:face-icon-small-sho

I thought the silly cat forum was the only place where they weighed the sled "about maybe a little fuel" so that they could do some "creative math" & convince themselves it's lighter thanit is!!!!:face-icon-small-ton

Either way, the stinking pig PC is a SOLID 36 lbs heavier from the only REAL comparisons I've seen... and that's a TON in my book.

Somebody PLEASE... put a cat motor in a pro chassis, and start selling them!! That's the sled I want!!:becky::becky:

haha im guessing you attach your tether to your...... ear? lol :der:

Ah, yeah, something like that. I am actually thinking of getting my navel peirced and having a big ring put in, that way I'd have something to hook my tether carabiner to!
Course, it would have to be a titanium ring so it didnt' add weight . . . .

If you read my first post you would have seen that I haven't been putting any sled on the scale, I'm just sharing somebody else's info:face-icon-small-ton
But except for that I'm totally agree with you're post! :face-icon-small-ton

Hmm... Why not a carbon fiber ring? That would make your sled way lighter!

Or else there is a big list of things to do...

Remove those ski loops; take off the hood and bumpers. use a small LED flashlight for your headlights, take out the spare plugs and belt (you don't need those), um... take off the worthless mountain bar, remove your mud flap, take off those warning stickers because they weight a lot too.... lose the seat, you ride standing up anyway. And then take a grinder and remove all excess metal or plastic from the sled. And last but not least, run the lightest weights you can because that means a lot too. Now I’m guessing the sled must be around 350-370lbs? your new lightweight pro rmk. :face-icon-small-ton

(Of course I’m being sarcastic for anyone who wanders on this post and doesn’t realize it)

Allpowersports thanks for the post.
Not sure why everyone has a hard time with the weight...
Sleds should be measure wet; coolant, oil in shocks, RTRun.
NO GAS, NO OIL in resisvoir to take out the differences in different brands capacities.

People have a difficult time because "some" gas or oil makes it a somewhat pointless comparison. FULL, or empty, one or the other. Anything in between you might as well not waste your time.

Why don't you just take your 36 extra fricken lbs and go back to bashing Polarry's in the Proclimb section BCIL. :face-icon-small-win :boxing:
