?? on 06 m7

Last season we rode the snowies for three days. The 4th day I started my sled, went in the cabin to grab some stuff, come out and the thing quit. I pulled and pulled. My buddies pulled and pulled. Towed it to the trailer. Pulled some more. Changed spark plugs. Pulled some more. Hauled it home. tried it again. About two days later it finally started. Been good ever since, But dont want it to strand me somewhere if it is something simple.

06 m-7 misadventure

there were multiple sleds of that production run that had electrical system shorts. mine was tailight wire under the seat the first time and some other wire the 2nd or maybe 3rd time. I was ready to dump it. Ran fine one minute. wouldn't fire the next. Checkk with dealer re: 06 m7 fixes. Haven't had any problems for 2 years now.

I had a similar problem. Tested all electrical and finally ended up replacing the main harness. good luck:beer;

hi
check the fuel pump wiring under the steering post cover had that happen on a few of the m's when they iced up they shorted

M7

You might have flooded it,if you keep pulling them and they dont go it just pumps more gas into the engine.In this case you should hold thottle wide open to let more air to the engine and keep pulling.

Sounds electrical, but you should also check your Smart Valves in the fuel tank.

cuttin out

They have issues with the throttle safety switch.My old 06 was cutting out acting funny.Something 2 check.there was a thread on how 2 bypassit....somewhere here on SW

Bingo!!! I just disabled mine and my same prob went away. Remember also fellas the throttle cable may stretch to causing the same symptoms with the broken throttle switch.

Bad connectors

I've heard of the connectors under the aluminum plate for the fuel pump can cause you problems. Replace them with better ones and you should be fine.
