Old School

So, since I can't ride this year, I figured I'd look through some of our old family pictures. Thought I'd share one with you all. Most of us can't remember the days of short tracks, let alone these things. Extra points if someone can tell me where this was taken (yes it's in Utah), or what year the sleds are.

sleds

My dad had 2 of the ones on left. I think that they where 65 or 68. Man that brings back some good old times with my dad before he past away. We where up beaver creek and there was a badger chasing him on one of those. That was some funny sh!!.

The picture looks like mirror lake highway on the soapstone side just down below the duchesne tunnel.

I was going to guess '70. Close. Awesome pic!
Location: somewhers up AF Canyon?
Sweet style, bluebird Utah day

Yes...AF canyon. and the other one is a '69. My grandpa taught me to ride that one on the left out in the fields when I was like 4. I love the vintage stuff. Not as fun to ride...but way cool.

Awesome... I think the older stuff is a blast to ride. We do it all the time. I get a little sad when the hub finds them for our kids and then sells. Not quite that old but older. :face-icon-small-win Still fun. Any sled on the snow is a good ol time. :face-icon-small-ton

I often wonder what it will be like 30 years from now. But then again it wasn't long ago when I looked back at some pictures at us and LMAO at our gear and sleds. LOL!!! Oh how times change....
