Old school ski's

I have a chance to try out some older doo ski's on my XP. They are Precision ski's and have the spindle mount almost to the outer edge. Thought this narrowing of the ski stance may be a good thing for an XP.
Anybody out there try these ski's on an XP? Yah, Yah, I know they were never a great ski but what the heck.

Oh, the sidehiller style ski's? The precisions looked like a simmons from the bottom. I know I didn't mind them on a zx sled, might be worth a try, every chassis responds differently! Although I know guys didn't like them on the old rev plaform.
