Wrong CanDoo I never owned POO or Cat, it is hard to for me to handel Xp here in WA state when snow is like concrete right now and old rev was more flickable at least to me.Winter Brew how many miles on your sled? Local dealer selling new 07 800 151 for 7200$:face-icon-small-con:face-icon-small-con

Where in washington were you looking at the 07 rev i bought mine in omac at xtreme power sports they wanted 7200 for it and i got it for 6000 but it also helped that my dad was buying a sled to at the same time

Oh how I agree with the guy who started this post. So I had problems with my 07 (motor and clutching) it's a REV and I love my REV been a fan since 04 and hope the rider postion comes back!:beer;

yeah, the REV is a really nice stance for me, i cant ride M sleds or dragons, feels silly to me.

i cant go back to a rev as i cant afford a XP, so i stay with the rev. for how stable they are on the trail and setup snow they still handle so dang good!!

I felt similarly. I now really like the sled. For me it was shock setup. Limiter strap 1 out. Front shocks on 3.5, front rear shock about half way rear on 4 or 5. I run without swaybar connected. Quick disconects would be nice for the trail as the xp is superior on the trail if the sway bar is installed. Handle bar slightly back from the most forward position. The bend in the bars positioned so the sweep back. This set up eliminated the off camber diving and allowed me to control the sled at off angle more like the rev.

Priest, there is probably only 300 miles on the '08 engine in my '07 Rev.....about 1400 on the chassis and it's in almost perfect shape. 159, Team secondary, HPS, venting and runs VERY strong. PM me if you are serious about some sort of a trade.

Sweet!:D Get a rev. Leaves the steeper and deeper for us XP's to play in :eek::beer;

Sorry for all you who don't feel comfortable on your XP's But I can do things on my XP that I couldn't dream about on my rev. So please have fun with the rev it was a great sled. But I will enjoy my XP cause once I figured out how to ride it, I am a much better rider. Plus my friends who are on revs can't go where i go......

the only thing i miss off the old rev is the 159 track length and the rear suspension in the deep snow--i think it was more capable in the deeeep:confused:

I think I agree with Priest, sort of. At this point I also wish I had the old 06 159 in the garage, but for different reasons. I am tired of the clutches always being as hot as the space shuttle on re-entry, and fighting the r.p.m. that fluctuates more than a person with schizofrenia. The dealer finally put new rollers and a D.J. kit in and told me not to come back to complain anymore cause there is nothing else that could be done, well the rollers lasted 150 miles and now my whole primary needs a rebuild, ramps, rollers, spring cap, etc. I was not really impressed with the D.J. kit but to be fair to him I think the spring cap was toast before they put the kit in. So I will rebuild the clutch on my own money and give the D.J. kit an honest chance. Yes old rev I miss you !

I like my 09 Xp better than my 05 159, handling, power, ergo's, booning, tree bashing etc. In all aspects I like the XP more, not that the older Rev chassis was an issue, I just enjoy the more rider forward.

I hope she's reliable because so far Im really enjoying this sled.

(Had 2 recoils sh!t the bed, thats it so far) Fingers crossed lol

I wonder if this same issue came up back when the rev came out? "Oh I miss my old ZX I dont like the way this new rev feels" I think its just a matter of getting used to something new. Kinda like a new girlfreind! Not one rides the same!

Setup is critical

The setup on the XP can go from not being able to pull over on 1 ski to... sitting on the seat with your shoulder in the snow doing 10 circles in a row. Subtle changes affect the handling by hugh amounts. You need to take the time to adjust these machines. I love my 06 151 but after thaking the time to get the XP right my 146 will out perform my Rev everytime.

i ride a 07 xrs and my buddy rides a 09 154 xp and i can see that the power was better but didnt think think the handling was any better but i am scared to make the jump cause of issues on the xps and i know 07s had hand fulls too but mine hasnt and im also worried bout if i hit anything with the nose of the xp it just seems it would fold and crunch and my rev fills way strong
