Interesting read... some good advice for meeting people that are into your thing...
i agree with whomever said that half the time they intimidate guys. I dunno if it could be my stature too or the fact that up until recently i was always out there doing it totally single, all of it.... up until a few years ago guys did NOT find that attractive! In fact, I had a few of my guy friends tell me they loved me to death and woudn't change me for the world but I was in NO WAY allowed to talk to their GFs and get them as into the sport as they are... Sometimes I think guys want a trophy up on the hill with them, not a real riding partner, that can get in the way of what kind of messages you're sending and the kind of girl you're attracted to when you're out doin the social scene.
anyway, other than that little tidbit on the way it WAS, i'm here to say it's changed.... So guys, if you really want to find a chick who already sleds or one who has an interest in leanrning, there are TONS out there. jsut gotta get out and meet people of all types so maybe they can intro you to the right one. You never know when you're going to meet someone, it could be at some beach somewhere, a million miles from snow and if you actually take the time to talk to a girl and listen to her you might find out she has some intersts in snowmobiling, or motor sports ot jsut in being a bad a$$ and going hard at things... Those are the kind of women who will get out and learn how to ride.
anyway, good luck to those of you who are looking but be sure you're looking for the right reasons and you REALLY want to share your passion with someone -which means, yeah sacrificing a few guy rides to get her up to par where she can be your dialing riding partner....
