nothing but redline synthetic, use it for everything including breaking in new top ends.

Amsoil...the red in my sled cause that's what they guy before me ran. The yellow in my bike.

I love oil threads

I run AMSOIL..

J-Roc unless your M8 is heavily modded you should be running AMSOIL Interceptor, not the Dominator.
i believe its the other way around, if you check the amsoil site its says interceptor is the basic 2 cycle where the dominator says for hi perfomance, modified engines
i run ams dominator

Amsoil in everything.

I remember when they called it Series 2000 and I had a VCR tape of a sled engine running all the top oils. They had it set up on a bench with a quick switch valve to each brand. They would measure cylinder temps and each oil got a new fresh head on motor to show build up.

Engine temps would start to instantly increase when other oils were introduced then decreased when back on Series 200 Amsoil. After 120 minutes of running motor would be shut down and head removed and placed in front of the corresponding oil that was run. They had 7 or 8 heads there and in a line you could clearly see heavy build up with some and very little with the Amsoil.

I like to blend Klotz, Legend, APV, Amsoil, Blue Marble, Mystic, and hash oil. The hash oil is for smell.

Legend, zx-2r. Used to run 2sr, and when I switched I see no difference, so stuck to the lower end version.

If I were to stop getting that, I'd go back to Amzoil. Easy to get, cheap, and it works.

Amsoil for me. Always used it and have had great results with it. Even ran a sled out of oil and siezed one piston, the other piston we perfect even after repeated re-starts and driving on the motor after the sieze (no oil added).

I am switching "her sled" from amsoil. I've been meaning to do this for a long time. The amsoil interceptor is easy to find and I used to run it. But I don't like cleaning power valves every other ride anymore. Another reason is the horrible smell and the burning of my eyes in the garage, even with doors open. It just smokes like crazy.

Check your injection. I've never had power valve problems. What's your oil usage like? Sounds like you are injecting too much.

i've never seen an oil related failure on any two stroke unless it was because the pos injection system sleds use failed. the one brand of oil is better than the other is sooooooooo much bull...
