Oil delete on 800

I am looking at an 04 vertical escape in mint condition with 1100 miles on it but the owner took the oil res off and runs pre mix. My question is, does the crank get sufficient lubrication with this set up? I know other sleds do ok with it, but given all the crank problems bb 800's had I am curious if this will do more harm than good to this engine. Thoughts?

As long as the PTO end of the case was drilled out it is a fine way to run those motors. I was told by a very reputable builder (IndayDan) that he prefers to drill the case and run 32:1 in the BB800 motors.

The case drill is just a diagonal hole from within the PTO chamber outward to intersect the OEM PTO oil hole. Then oval out that hole just to the PTO seal edge so the bearing race no longer covers 60% of the oil hole. If the case is not drilled it would probably have torched the outer PTO bearing already, but I would ask about it.
